Caravan of the Year 2023

Coachman Caravans: Acadia 630 Xtra with bunks and L-shaped lounge

Coachman Caravans was awarded Caravan of the Year for its Acadia 630 Xtra with bunks and L-shaped lounge.

The same caravan also won Family Caravan of the Year with the judges praising its thoughtful use of space. In addition, the Hull-based manufacturer was awarded the title of Best Luxury Caravan for the Lusso II – one of the most prestigious caravans available in the UK.

More award winners announced

Bailey of Bristol’s top-of-the-range Alicanto Grande Evora won Best Couples’ Caravan, and the Pegasus Grande SE Bologna with its transverse bed winning Best Twin-Axle Caravan.

The Erwin Hymer Group won Best Fixed Bed Caravan for its high-end 8ft-wide Buccaneer Barracuda, Best Six-Berth Caravan for its fixed-bed Elddis Crusader Tempest and the company’s entry-level offering, Xplore 304 taking the prize for Best Compact Caravan.

Best Four-Berth Caravan was awarded to the Weinsberg for the CaraOne 400LK which features bunks and U-shaped seating.

Camping crossover vehicle, Swift’s Basecamp 4, which has been given a facelift for the new model year, took the prize for Best Innovation, and another diminutive model, the Adria Action, won Coolest Caravan.

Red Lion Caravans in Southport, which stocks Compass, Eriba, and Go-Pods, among others, won the public vote for Dealer of the Year.
