Can Service and Education Beat Inflation? – MarketScale

It is no secret that 2022 has been a rough year for just about every segment of the economy in the United States.

That is not to say there are not ways to mitigate the impact of higher prices and ensuing job cuts, and materials shortages.

Adam Morrisey, VP, Strategy & Business Development for ShipShape, believes there are some remedies that businesses can implement now though. Here is his take on transitioning to a service model and his opinion on how information within the Inflation Reduction Act can help businesses and homeowners alike.

“Today I wanted to highlight on the home service contractors. One of the most fun things we get to do at Ship Shape is work closely with these businesses that serve their local communities. I think HVAC companies, plumbers, basement waterproofers, and one of the things we’re hearing pretty consistently from these companies is that business is slowing due to the recent economic times.

So, a couple of things we’re doing to help. One is helping these companies transform their business into service companies, focusing on long-term relationships rather than just one-and-done sales. The other thing we’re doing is empowering and informing homeowners and contractors about the benefits available to them as part of the Inflation Reduction Act.

So, if you’re a homeowner looking to make your home safer, more reliable, or more efficient, or a contractor trying to find ways to transform your business, let us know. We’re happy to help!”
