Veterans Day is just around the corner. It’s a day for some wonderful food deals for veterans and active military; a day to honor those who fight for our country. If you’re not a veteran, but would still like to show some love, I’ve also included a list of veteran-owned restaurants and food trucks in the Wichita area.

Be sure to let your family members and friends know of these deals and to thank them for their service. To take advantage of any deals, it’s best practice to bring your military ID or proof of service.

Applebee’s
Veterans and active-duty military receive a free meal when dining in from a special menu on November 11.

Arby’s
Arby’s are honoring all veterans and active-duty military on Veteran’s Day with a free classic roast beef sandwich.

B.J.’s Restaurant and Brew House 
Complimentary meal from a select menu and a Dr. Pepper.

Bonefish Grill
Free order of Bang Bang Shrimp to veterans

Bricktown Brewery
Bricktown Brewery will honor Veterans on Friday, November 11th, by offering one select free entrée to Veterans and active military guests. Additionally, Veterans and active military guests will receive a commemorative “Thank You For Your Service” pint glass and a $10 off certificate to be used at a future Bricktown Brewery visit.

Buffalo Wild Wings
Buffalo Wild Wings will treat military members and veterans to free boneless wings and fries on Veterans Day.

IHOP will celebrate and honor veterans on Veterans Day by offering free Red, White & Blue Pancakes from 7 a.m. through 7 p.m. at participating locations for dine-in service only. Military ID or proof of service is required.

Taco John’s
Taco John’s is giving away a free Small Beef Taco Combo Meal when guests enter the promo code “VETERAN” under the MORE tab in the Taco John’s App.

Texas Roadhouse
Veterans and active-duty military receive a meal voucher on November 11, from 11am to 2pm. These vouchers are good for dine in or carry out and can be used until May 30, 2023. There will be a specific menu to select from.

Torchy’s Tacos (both locations)
Complimentary taco and beverage from their Veterans Day Menu. Dine-in and pick-up orders placed by phone or in-person only.

Travelin Smoke BBQ
Complimentary meal for veterans and active duty military with proof of service, dine-in only.

Twin Peaks

Village Inn
Village Inn is honoring members of our armed forces with a free 2-2-2 breakfast all day, Nov. 11. Veterans and active-duty servicemen and women can get breakfast by showing their military ID or proof of military service.

Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux
Free scholarship burger on November 11 to all active duty and veterans with proof of ID.
