Lightspeed offers two versions of its popular iPhone POS software: retail and restaurant. The retail version is sort of its flagship product because of its unrivaled inventory management system. You can perform bulk imports of products and SKUs, get low-stock alerts and there are built-in purchase orders. Lightspeed even offers a vendor network catalog, which makes restocking a breeze.

The price range for Lightspeed’s iPhone POS software is $69 to $199 per month (if paid annually), which is quite a bit more expensive than most of its competitors. Given the depth and detail of the features included though, it’s a good value for a retailer that has complex needs.

You can use the built-in payment processing from Lightspeed, which offers comparable rates to some of the best POS softwareavailable. Bigger businesses with high-volume sales may qualify for lower rates.

  • Manual key:2.6% plus $0.30

There aren’t really add-ons with Lightspeed, so much as there are upgrades to pricier plans. So, if you want to sell in person and online, you’ll want to choose the mid-tier plan. For the loyalty program, you’ll have to opt for the highest-priced plan. Lightspeed does offer integrations with third-party apps, so you can add on that way, if needed.
