On Oct. 12 at 11:52 a.m. a 53-year-old male from the 300 block of S. Broad Street, Philadelphia was charged with retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia at the Giant in the 100 block of West Township Line Road.

Retail theft

On Oct. 12 at 11:52 a.m. a 53-year-old male from the 300 block of S. Broad Street, Philadelphia was charged with retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia at the Giant in the 100 block of West Township Line Road.

On Oct. 12 at 3:04 p.m. a  37-year-old female of the 300 block of West Marshall Street in Norristown was charged with retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia  at the Giant in the 100 block of West Township Line Road.

On Oct. 13 at 11:38 a.m. a  29-year-old male, of the 300 block of Brighton Road, Plymouth Meeting was charged with retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia at the Acme on the 600 block of West Lancaster Avenue.

DUI

On Oct. 17 at 12:17 a.m. a  43-year-old male from the unit block of Chelten Road, Havertown was charged with  DUI and careless driving at Haverford and Eagle Eagle roads

Forgery

Havertown Post Office, 400 block of Township Line Road on Oct. 12 at 11:44 a.m. two checks were altered and cashed after they were mailed.

 Identity Theft

1900 block of Chestnut Circle on Oct. 12 at 9:52 a.m. the  victim reported that someone attempted to purchase a vehicle using her identity.

Fraud

600 block of North Eagle Road on Oct.13 at 10:57 a.m. the victim reported that he paid an electrician a $7,000 deposit for a generator to be installed. The victim has been unable to contact the owner of the company for months. The cell phone, business phone and email address have all been disconnected.

Fraud

Unit block of Waverly Road on Oct.13 at 10:10 a.m. the victim received an email advising of a cancellation for a “Norton” service. The victim emailed and called the number provided and later discovered that his laptop had been hacked. The victim realized that he was scammed and froze his credit cards and bank accounts.

800 block of Powder Mill Road on Oct. 13 at 8:49 a.m. a vehicle was keyed

Retail Theft

Lowe’s in the 100 block of West Township Line Road on Oct. 14 at 8:19 p.m. Two unknown males stole ceiling fans and faucets.

Forgery

Havertown Post Office in 400 block of East Township Line Road on Oct. 15t at 11:40 a.m. a check was reported  altered and cashed after it was mailed.

Wallet Theft

Brick and Brew in the unit block of East Eagle Road on Oct. 16 at 1:21 p.m. The victim reported that her wallet was stolen from her purse while she was eating. The wallet contained credit cards, social security card, driver’s license and $20.00. Multiple unauthorized purchases were made with the credit cards.

Criminal Mischief

On Oct. 16 at 8:46 a.m. numerous acts of vandalism were reported in the Township. Charges  are pending.

800 block of Darby Road on Oct.17 at 5:35 p.m. a victim reported numerous unauthorized transactions from her checking account.

 Theft

4100 block of Parkview Drive on Oct. 18 at 3:21 p.m.  a package was stolen after it was delivered.

Forgery

600 block of South Eagle Road on Oct. 18 at 6:54 a.m. two checks were altered and cashed after they were mailed.

 Identity Theft

500 block of Harriet Lane on Oct.18 at 5:05 p.m. the victim reported that someone used his identity to withdraw $4,000 from his bank account.

Public Drunkenness

800 block of Coopertown Road on Oct 18 at 12:13 p.m.  a 30-year-old male from the 100 block of Lee Circle, Haverford was cited for public drunkenness.

Public Drunkenness

Wynnewood Road and Olcott Avenue on Oct. 18 at 11:02 p.m. a 44-year-old male from the 1000 block of Sproul Road, Bryn Mawr was cited for public drunkenness.

Tickets

Police issued 11 moving violations, 30 warnings, 2 non-traffic and 93 parking tickets during the week.
